Sounds like great kid and you are a good man for all you've done
for him and his mom. I'm sure he loves the guitar.

I am beginning the process of selling my house and buying a new one. I have to clear out so much stuff, find a place for it, then load up a truck and move it to where ever I end up.
I am getting stressed and overwhelmed. I will trade you some stuff for your uncle-ship. not what you had in mind huh? LOL
I gave Jahi the guitar yesterday. the money in his 18th birthday card had his jaw dropped. then when I pulled out the guitar
he just about fainted. he totally loves it. all that bling is right up his alley. in seconds he had the pic on his cell phone; sending it to his buddies.
he has had an amazing day. his scholarship came through. on top of that, a local foundation that supports low income families is going to cover finances the scholarship doesn't. so his college education has just been paid.
mom did faint.
we talked later. he asked why is everyone being so generous to him. I am so proud. :D
And we are proud, too.

I'm a little busy with Grandfather duties or I'd be tempted to take that offer :lol:
I use to do that kind of stuff for pizza and beer then I quit drinking.
