A couple of years ago, when I got back from the Texas adventure, I was diagnosed as having a small tumour. It was spotted very early....a few weeks of chemotherapy seemed to have solved the problem. Unfortunately, it seems it didn't -but again, it's only a tiny tumour. This time, the doctors - the people who know best - think it would be best if I underwent surgery, to get rid of the unwanted invader for once and for all. So come Monday, I'm going to be checking into the local hospital - and I know from when Marilyn was in the same hospital, a couple of years ago, they have facilities for e-mail etc....so I'll be able to keep in touch.
From what my own doctor has told me, it's a fairly straightforward procedure, no big deal, in and out in a couple of days - but he did say, "You'll be so weak for a couple of weeks afterwards, you'll just want to sleep - and sleep - and sleep ......
So wish me luck - and hopefully, I'll be back in a couple of weeks. Strike that - I WILL be back soon.
I'll post an E-mail address as soon as I can.....
