Just goes to show how observant I am; I was logged in for a few minutes just now, looking around at new posts, when I realize that I'm not having to scroll from side to side on my old 800x600 res. home pc to read - hey, it fits the screen! :D The colors look alittle more vibrant too. I just logged on this morning & everything is back to the way it was - no re-size to 800x600 & no yellow scrollover highlights. :(

Well if you ask me what I think,
I'll tell you the whole thing's a mess,
There's more bots than members,
And far fewer members than guests.
Navigation's tough,
But not as tough as replying,
If you can't find the buttons,
What's the point in applying?
I've been here for a while,
But it's all new to me,
I don't like the set-up,
Could be easier to read.

Well I was looking through the SSG,
trying to find my old songs,
And the way it's set up,
Seems to me all wrong,
Can't find my name like I used to do,
At the side of my songs.

I didn't like the layout at first, but admittedly, I was getting ill on everything I tried reading back then. Now that the colors and contrast were adjusted, it got rid of my biggest gripe. Another other gripe I have, well, I can't even remember them right now. (modern medications RULE!!!)
Onlt one reason I hang out here is the respectful people, meaning that they command it by giving it. Sure, a nasti comment comes across every now and then, but the general rule of thumb, or the pulse of the crowd here, is that they care, try to help, enjoy the occasional debate and have a good laugh all while touching on guitar topics from a-z. And get this, it's for free.

For those who have to know such things (or just in case you're interested):
When you're on the member list page (to access, click on "Members" at the almost top right hand side of any page - it's right next to the "FAQ" icon), you can sort the member list by any of the headings (username, rank, posts, location, website or date joined) simply by clicking on it. For example, click on "posts" and you get everyone listed by posts.
"Oh no! There's a problem! It starts with 0 and goes up and I want to see who has the most posts!"
Simply click on the last page (currently page 300) and you'll see the top sixteen posters.
And if I, possibly the least computer savvy of all the Mods (and probably the entire GN Forum membership :wink: ) can figure this out by myself in less than two minutes, then it's got to be a pretty friendly layout!
