Wonderful news, Bish!
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
Good news indeed!
One of our grandkids - James - was born February last year, 9 weeks early (31 weeks) and weighed a little over 3lbs at birth. He stayed in hospital for about 8 weeks or so, he's now crawling everywhere and trying to walk. The only thing he's susceptible to seems to be chest infections - he seems to get an awful lot of catarrh when he gets a cold. Other than that, he's just like any other 11-month-old kid, except maybe a bit smaller - then again, he's only 9 months older than the date he should have been born on!
Hope Landon continues to improve and comes home soon!

Thank you all again for your continued support.
Vic, James sounds like a handful already.
My daughter actually came back to our home this weekend to start work again. She will probably only go up a couple times a week instead of the 24/7 monitoring from up at the hospital. She says the constant ups and downs are taking its toll on her. I tend to agree as she is starting to show the wear and tear in her face. (But I'll never tell her that.) I value harmony at home and lately it has eluded this household.

That's got to be really hard on everyone.

Taking care of and worrying about a healthy infant is hard enough. I can't imagine what your daughter must be going through. It's good that she is taking a break from the hospital, she needs to take care of herself as well. I hope things continue to go well. It sounds like he might be out of the woods soon. :)
All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.
I have another update.
The little guy is no longer....little. He's hit 7+ pounds.
He's still on assisted breathing but is breathing on his own. He is learning to eat now, too. Doing some with mama and some with bottle. If things progress we may be bringing him home about the normally scheduled birth date of March 3rd.
More pictures as soon as I can get the camera from my daughter. :x :D
