I cannot give a confirmation of this, but I have heard from several sources in the last few days that SoundControl (the main UK distributer for Schecter Guitars and also for the Grainger amplifiers) has gone into adminstration.:(
If I get any further info I'll confirm this, but in the mean time does anyone else know anything? Be unfortunate if it's true, SoundControl have offered some good deals in the past.

It is confirmed. :(
Not all is lost as it appears that some of the stores are still trading, but their telephone sales has now ended and 10 of the 26 stores have closed.

Is that the American equivalent of Bankruptcy?
Uhm yeah I think so, bankruptcy is reserved for personal finances in the UK generally. I hope somebody buys up SC though, while they aren't the most competitive normally, they do have stonking offers from time to time (was where I got my rebadged Epiphone So-Cal 50H and 412 cab).
