So I got a PM from pearl just the other day where she told me she had written lyrics to a punk song. Unfortunately she can't record it herself so I was asked to do the music. We've now got a basic idea but still need someone to actually sing/scream/whatever the lyrics and record it.

Listen to a sketch of the song

Lyrics:
Get It Out

Get it out
Scream it out
Get it out
Scream it out

Gotta get it out

It'll ruin me
Burn a hold in me
It'll ruin me
Burn a hole in me

Gotta put it out

Get it out
Scream it out
Get it out
Scream it out

Gotta get it out

Hope anyone is up for it. :D

I would Pearl and Sleutelbos

Only 2 things holding me back ...

1 / My recording programme won't let me save as MP3 , Very annoying I can tell you ..

2 / A little matter of not knowing how to sing and no ability in that field and not knowing when to start singing each line ..

Apart from those 2 little things I would be up for it ..

Trevor

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am

I'd be in if I had a mic. Right now the one I have doesn't work right. It has autowah............which is odd for a microphone. Plus I was playing/singing it earlier today and couldn't fight the urge to do it as a screaming thrash metal song.

OWA: if you want to play some trash metal riffs and sing/scream/whatever the lyrics over it, be my guest. You can send the parts to me and I'll add a drum/bass and mix it off. (please record to a metronome for that). Basic dynamic mics cost around $5, seems a small price to get the metal-side of GN going. :D

It could be a while before I have time to shop or record. I'm up for a promotion at work (had my interview today) and most, if not all, of my mental energy is invested in getting it. I'm going insane and chomping at the bit here!
