The worst I've hard in a long time was Linda McCartney's backing to something like Mull of Kintyre.
It wasn't just that she missed the notes, she didn't appear to be able to produce any pitch known to western music (or probably eastern, for thaqt matter).
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
