Beautiful guitar. How's it play?

It plays as good as it looks!

Pure beauty...there's nothing that matches the tone of LP! :D

Awesome. Jealous of your inlays. The ones on my lp aren't as nice. Talk about brand loyalty though, you have more Agiles than I have coke bottles.

The inlays are real abalone. They are pretty. As far as being brand loyal ....... I have 2 Epiphone Les Pauls as well as 2 Gibson Les Pauls. I have so many Agiles cause they are cheap. All 3 barely = the cost of my least expnsive Gibson. The Agiles are $399, $225 and $169. Did I mention I like Les Pauls?

And he probably has more guitars than you do years of life. Some people like the feeling of choosing which guitar to play, I guess. ;-)
Merry Christmas TR. That thing is a beaut. I'm assuming this is the $399 Agile? If people are smart, that is really going to cut into Epi's market. I was playing a friend's epi LP standard last weekend. Nice axe, but in the details like the inlays, nowhere NEAR as pretty as yours. And $200 more expensive. I want an Agile.
Best,
Ande
PS- What do you mean by posting a pic with a BACK VIEW of a guitar?? COme on, we want to see the whole family! Turn the third one around for the guitarporn viewers!

I love my Epiphone LP custom. Not sure what the inlays are made of but it's not abalone. Still love the finish on the body though.

Yes I remember that one. It is a looker! I have yet to get a custom. The Agile version, the AL3100 has trapazoids instead of block inlays and I thought that looked tachy on the first fret. The AL3000's have the empty first fret ALA the Les Paul Standard. The price is the same as I paid for my new one as my new one is an AL3000 Prestige. (Whatever that means)
The inlays on the Epiphone are the same as on mine ......... same as on my other 2 Agiles as well ......... MOT. MOT? MOP = mother of pearl. MOT = mother of toilet seet. The perloid cellulose they used to make fancy toilet seats and the like out of. It can still be very pretty when the light catches it. Here is the inlay on my cheapest Agile AL2000.
And now ... the toilet seat.
And my Gibson Les Paul
I read that even some of the lower end Gibsons use the stuff now. Not a thing wrong with it.
OK Ande .......... you mean this old thing?
Believe it or not, I bought this on sale for $169 ... oh and yes, the new one cost $399. The cheaper ones have maple necks, my new one is a mahogony neck, 2 piece center joined mahogony body with a 1/16th " AA flame maple top. Upgraded wiring and pots too as well as Alnico V pickups. The Al2000's are great guitars but this one is better. The AL3000 is easily as good as my Epiphone Les Pauls if not a bit better. Oh! Agiles are made in Korea.

That is one amazing picture! Congrats TR!
In Space, no one can hear me sing!
Very nice, dude! The Agiles have raised the bar, eh?
I can dig a fondness for the LP. I only have two of them, though. Plus the Art100 single cut. Not heavy enough to be a true LP copy. That sounded funny. Anyhow, I can dig. Quite a nice range. My Epi LP Custom would be "the one" if I only got to have one, for sure.
You know, I never thought about doing aftermarket toggles from the start. Might as well, though. They're all going to go soon anyhow. I forget how many stock toggles I've replaced.

Even though it is supposed to be higher quality, the AL3000 togle is a sealed switch. It clicks, doesn't work the same as the ones in my Epiphones and Gibsons. The lower end AL's have the same style as the Epis and Gibbys ... go figure. I like the feel of the Switchcraft style togle. For $9 I figured why not just change it.
