I have a flextone III+ and play live regularly with it. More than loud enough never had the volume above 4 for gigs.Extremely versatile.Most people are amazed at the quality of the sound I get out of it.It does take a while to get the most out of it because all the controls respond differently depending on which amp model your using.eg if you use the Vox AC30 amp model then all the control knobs act as if they belong to an AC30.Very clever stuff but can be frustrating until you get the hang of it.I guess thats why people either love them or hate them.
If you play a wide variety of stuff like I do then their ideal.In an ideal world i'd have a nice valve amp with a nice selection of stomp boxes but to get anywhere near the sounds i regularly use from this amp I would have to spend more than a £1000.00 ( $2000 )
