I saw Robert Plant and Alison Krauss this past Saturday in Birmingham, AL.

That's an example of "already on iPod"
Wow is right. Found this song from a thread in "News" here about 2 months ago

That was my favorite from their CD "Raising Sand"
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
live was MUCH better than youtube.

They're coming this way soon. I've been debating.

and referenced by ElektraBlue
It took me a while but I figured out
why that hippie chick is so appealing . . .
She's got that Goldie Hawn/Meg Ryan/Jane Fonda look.
Very cool 60's look.

I can understand why the young people would not mention this, but I can't believe no one has mentioned Patsy Cline.

For me, Patsy Cline does it. There was just such sincerity and feeling in her voice. I have always got the impression that she didn't simply sing her songs, she lived them.
Gotta include Patsy. :D
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
Alison Krauss for me.
I can understand why the young people would not mention this, but I can't believe no one has mentioned Patsy Cline.
Two things:
(1) Where were you during nominations? ( I know, some of us have lifes - thank God, not me!)
(2) Already had two out of your three (on said iPod). I also had "You Belong to Me" by PC. (and 4 others)

I got a greatest hits album. Never remember to play it but maybe once a year or something. Odd. Used to enjoy listening to the inlaws talk about her before she became famous. (Winchester Va area)

I can't believe no one mentioned Patsy, either! Why didn't I think about her? I must be getting really old! OMG!  :?

Don't think of it as getting older, you're getting better. . . . like a fine wine.
Bottoms up!
(or am I allowed to say that?)
Getting paranoid here . . .

Dusty Springfield is a good one.
Of course my opinion's going to change constantly, but right now I like KT Tunstall - under the weather and Yael Naim - New Soul. Also Rilo Kiley - Silver Lining and the Pixies - Gigantic. And the Distillers - The Hunger. Ok, I'm just getting weirder and weirder now.
