Got that email from clapton.com last night. I love getting email from that site, cause it says "You have just recieved an email from Eric Clapton" haha.
Anyways, thought I'd let you all know.
He should come to Canada :(
So he's not with Cream on this tour?
Nope! The Cream reunion was just a one time deal.
It say's he's with a whole new band, so I guess that means no Nathan East, Steve Gadd, Doyle, Andy Fairweather-low...Unless they just meant new as in not Jack Bruce/Ginger Baker.
There were rumors about Derek Trucks joining Clapton for this tour, though nobody has been sure whether that means as an opening act or as a new member of the band. If he were a member of the band they could call it Derek and a Domino.
I missed out last time, this time I'm going for sure.....
The MEN arena's nice and easy to get to, 5 mins walk to station, 20-25 mins on train, walk out of station and into the MEN....
And to be honest, if I'm going to see EC, I couldn't give a hoot who's in his backing group....all I'll be concentrating on is his hands....
Wish I'd seen the Cream concerts, though....
:D :D :D
Vic
Oh yeah....thanks for the heads-up, Taso!!!

No problem! I figure since Mr Clapton is sending me emails, I'm in the loop, I like to help those out of it  Seriously though, I do get excited when it says "You have just recieved an E-mail from Eric Clapton" , and then I remember it's not really him. :(
;)
Thanks Taso. I've got my tickets booked for the NEC after hanging on the phone for about 15 minutes.
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!
