when you can't get a song out of your head....good or bad. Sometimes it's really a horrible song.
Fortunately the song I can't get out of my head is "Glad" by Traffic, which I love. It recently emerged from the depths of my mind.
I wonder how it would be for guitar????
some call those tunes earworms.

My son was playing Guitar Hero 3 on Friday morning & was trying to Play "Cliffs of Dover" by Eric Johnson... darn song has been stuck in my head ever since then!

The song from Good Will Hunting as the credits start rolling has been with me all day. Looked it up. Elliott Smith's "Miss Misery" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH8-lQ9CeyI

"I wonder if a composer ever intentionally composed a piece that was physically impossible to play and stuck it away to be found years later after his death, knowing it would forever drive perfectionist musicians crazy." - George Carlin
i just recently got the Spin Doctors "pocket full of kryptonite (jimmy olsen)" out of my head.
it was bouncing around in there for about 2 days....

I still have "Glad" in my head. I should try it on piano....that'll put the kybosh on it...I don't play piano.
at work my coworkers and I mess with each other with earworms. I will start singing a classic hair band song from the 70's and then the groans begin; everyone becomes infected. I have had it done to me. 'More Than A Feeling' won't go away.
