Yeah, you guys I'm starting a series of polls to add a bit of flavor to the poll board, to get some general discussion up and going. I'm just going to ask the basic questions and see where it goes

or garbage about me...

The pick I'm currently using is Dunlop Tortex .88 mm pick.

You'll find that this subject has been pretty well covered in these threads

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Shhh, gb, shhhh! :)

I hate any pick that bends even the tiniest amount - so 3mm Dunlop bass picks for me :)

Greybeards provided a link in 3 of the 4. I think that Duffmaster should use the search before he makes a series of threads like this.

No need to collate, just go and read.

I've gone back to Dunlop Nylon .60, after a brief flirtation with .75, and even .88! The heavier picks are perhaps slightly easier to play with, but I can't get my very own sound with anything but .60, I've decided ;-)

I previously used Dunlop nylons, then I switched to Pickboy Carbon Graphite "Edge" picks. They have the snap of nylons with the stiffness/playability of heavier picks. I use the 1.00s for electric and the .60s for acoustic (though I might go a little heavier for strumming my very-bright 12 string.)

Wegen picks, the thicker the better.

D'Andrea formula Delrex .88, I used to use 1.14's, but am trying something new.

Exactly. I've got no problem with discussion, it just it wouldn't seem logical to make another "Post Your Gear" thread, just seems unnecessary to start new threads.

But not to be a party crasher, I use thin picks. Like 0.28mm.
