"If the moon were made of ribs, would you eat it?"
the tone is no longer in the fingers I guess.
with this guitar I would only have to pose behind it.
I don't like the programmed effects that go in. kind of like a pedal board. maybe one or two great sounds and tons of junk sounds.

Was thinking exactly the same thing when I read about it.
It bugs me when Gibson presents such things as CNC body machining, the Plek fret dressing and body chambering as innovations, when others have been using these techniques for quite a few years.
The best thing about this guitar? That Gibson finally figured out that a P90 at the neck and a 'bucker at the bridge make a great pup combo ... just like on two of my modified Squier '51s.

Sounds like another waste of money to me just like that robot guitar...
meh,...bah
#4491....
As I was reading the ad I was thinking... wow, didn't Fender come out with this two years ago for half the price?

Wow, the technology going into guitars now is amazing. Not sure it's for me though.

They make it sound so good. When I read things like this, for some reason, I hear that announcer guy's voice. You know, "In a world where guitars can't tune themselves...enter "The Guitar Robot""
