Been a little over 7 months cigarette free. Gets easier and easier to not smoke. Still have very minor cravings, but they don't last more than a few seconds now.
As if you don't already have enough reasons to quit for good, I'll give you another. I took the money I'm saving and bought myself a fully loaded Durango. The wife and I also just closed on our first house yesterday. We could not have gotten the house we did if we both still smoked.
So not only do I feel better, I'm also living better. :)

Good for you, Bobblehat! Just got to stick at it now, you're over the worst.....and you can always drop in to this thread if you're feeling the strain - the encouragement I've had from the folks here really helped me when I was feeling tempted. I REALLY don't think I could have done it alone. And with the new licensing laws coming into effect in July - smoked prohibited in any pub in Britain - looks like you picked the perfect time to quit!
Coming up to 4 months now for me - and of course Racetruck, who quit at the same time!!!

Don't smell an ashtray, go and smell a smoker (discreetly, not like that kid in the Febreze advert :lol: :lol: ). If that doesn't stop you grabbing a "coffin nail", then nothing will.

Saw a hypnotist on 4th May, took £145 off me but I think it was worth it.

Nuno, I actually meant the way my own odor has improved, no more stale tobacco whiff :D not the way in which I can smell things better :D
