I've been looking at acoustic guitars online and I really like the Guild GAD-50. Does anyone here have one, and how do you like it? Where are the guitars made now? Thanks.

i checked one out that had a crack in it at the MF warehouse a while back, and it was a pretty nice guitar.
they are made in China , but i wouldn't let that bother you.

Lefty, thanks for the reply. It's funny you mentioned looking at one with a crack at the MF warehouse, as I'm looking at a blem version on Music123.com for what seems like a decent price for a solid wood guitar.

I have a D55.

You have to keep it humidified or you'll have problems.

I've had two cracks in the face & binding letting go several times.

It sounds great though. Huge volume.

With a fresh set of strings, I think I'd put it up against anything.

I have one and I'm really happy with it. Nice powerful voice with the IR back and sides. I got it from Power Alley in N.Y. Good guy's and it came with a free set-up.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Speaking of keeping it humidified, what are the best ways to do that? There are so many different products that do that, I'm kind of lost.

i use these,
http://www.amazon.com/Dampit-9127-Guitar-Humidifier/dp/B0002L51NS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1202399180&sr=1-2
or the little "planet waves" one, they both work well.
