:note2: o for this christmas i was planning on getting a line 6 pocket pod.... but i have a roland microcube amp. I am not planning on live performance soon but i was wondering if i should get a pocket pod. PLz HELP I NEED ADVICE
and the option if you don't get the pocket Pod?
I'm not sure the pocket Pod is much of a performance piece anyway. it's more of a fancy headphone amp that can be used as a recording EFX box or into an amp. I have a Korg Pandora -- similar principle. of course, the microCube can be used as a tiny performance amp or a headphone amp or for recording EFX, but I've got to believe the pocket Pod has more EFX with better tweakability than the microCube. At least that's the case in comparing my Pandora to the microCube (as well as Cube 30). there's a lot of overlap between the microCube and p-Pod, but but each does something the other cannot or some other things better. really depends on your needs.
