For a more electric/band feel:
Frankenstein - Zappa (arrange as needed)
Europa - Santana
I haven't had a chance to sit down and sort the GP5 tab for hideaway yet, but I'll post here when it's done. Sorry for the delays, got a bit of stress going on that needs dealing with first.
I don't know or listen to a whole lot of instrumentals (with the one exception of Apocalyptica), but one that I really like is Vampires by Godsmack. It's a really good and quite easy song to play.

Ummm... Did you mean Edgar Winter?
I wasn't able to find Frankenstein in my Zappa collection (and I like to think it's fairly complete). Though I kinda wish I did, it would be cool to hear what he did with it.
Usually when I think of Zappa instrumentals, it's Peaches en Regalia or RNDZL.
I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
So I looked like I was deep
My longtime favorite Zappa number is Willy the Pimp, which is mostly instrumental.
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
Was wondering the same thing about frankenstein
"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!

That would be a brain freeze. Yes of course it's The Edgar Winter Group. I wonder why Zappa wandered though my head :?
