I just reminded myself of the makeshirt pop guard I made for my Blue Snowball USB mic. I had it wrapped in a cloth napkin type material when doing "I Walk The Line" for dogbite.

that's a studio pop filter. for live, a foam ball will be sufficient.

The type you linked is pretty much exclusively used for studio work.
Something more like this would be more versatile if you ever want to gig:
