Nice corner Dagwood! Clean, no contact, looks like you're carrying lots of speed, and you seem to be right on the out-in-out road racing line. Trust me, that's not a good idea on the street or anywhere that's not maintained like a racetrack

Ethan,
1974 Plymoth Duster :)
I really dig old cars, in my life I've owned:
1970 Dodge Challenger 440 6-Pack
1968 Chevrolet Chevelle
1972 Dodge Charger
1973 Dodge Charger
1970 Ford Mustang
Unfortunatly I sold all of them before the prices of them sky rocketed, if I would have kept them I could pay off my house with them, ahhh hindsight is 20/20 :)
I havn't found my tone yet, and I have no mojo....but I'm working on it :)
Sweet. Love the 70's Dusters. Hemi?
I love older cars too. In the garage right now there's a 1971 MGB GT (I'd never heard of it before we bought one  ), and there's a 78 Firebird on the end of my street. There's more around, I just can't remember them

That Duster really is sweet

When I was a kid, I spent more time than I probably should've trying to dream up a way to shoehorn a 426 Hemi into an MG Midget.

I like photography. It's mostly holiday snaps, to be honest, but I really would like to do something good with a camera.
I read too - biographies at the mo. Currently reading about joe Strummer, with Jimi up next and Slash's book about how he survived GnR and Snakepit after that.
Best,
A :-)

It can be done. The car, then, goes like a rocket. It also brakes like one! I souped up a Ford Anglia (the blue car that flies around in the Harry Potter films, only mine was two-tone, white and rust) - 1200cc and a factory rating of around 34hp - after souping up it would hit a ton. Unfortunately...........................
The Midgets and the Anglias had 4 drum brakes (I think the later midgets may have been given 2 discs at the front). They had around 5 seconds stopping time, before they faded away to uselessness - if you hadn't stopped by then, only friction (or something far more unpleasant) was going to stop you.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Hemi, I wish :) it's got a 318 in it now, soon I'm gonna switch to a 340, some where in the 350 HP range.
A new hemi crate engine is about $14,000, a bit rich for my wallet:)
Anyone who rescues/restores old cars is thumbs up in my book :)

One of my hobbies is gardening, another is photography. So, here is an example of both!
After three years of trying I finally got my 'black' irises to bloom!!! Hooray!!! :D

Great then. If you haven't already heard of him, a great guy to talk to is Mike Salter of Precision Sportscars. He runs an Austin Healey in Targa Newfoundland, and he's where our MG came from.

Outside of all things music I have a lot of interests.
I've taken Shotokan karate for a long time, I've been off for a while for surgery and a neck injury. I'm also looking at taking Ju-Justsu in the fall.
Weightlifting and sports in general, bastketball, baseball, hockey, swimming.
I like playing pool. I'm not bad, but I don't get to play often anymore. Used to play everyday at a student job I had last summer. I played sometimes at the University Center too. I'm fairly decent actually when I played with some regularity.
Reading, I'm a big fan of novels, more recently getting into local work, there are a lot of upcoming artists around here.
I'm a big fan of politics, follow it really intensly. I'm studying Political Science in School.
I also like doing charity work. I play a lot of benefit concerts, donations to cancer funds, and so on. When I go back to university in the fall I'm going to try and get involved with a Habitat for Humanity project.

Man, another Newfoundlander! Wicked, haven't had another one kicking around here in a while, since Narn (also Paul) last posted about 6 months ago I think.
Good to see you man!

Also cool to meet you. You ever get to see Targa Newfoundland, or does your area not get a stage?
