Hey everyone - I just heard that the Rascal Flatts made it to the top of the Billboard Charts. If you haven't already checked them out please do so - give them a shot! Their video Take Me There is on you tube, http://youtube.com/watch?v=sbVLkLbZmGk if you wanted to see their video. Anyway, tell me what you think my coworkers and I at umg would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks!!

This has got to be the laziest spam I ever saw. So every October:

New Cross Canadian Ragweed
Hey! Anyone like Cross Canadian Ragweed? They have a double CD coming out at the end of the month. They're also releasing an additional live DVD. I like their music, but they're really great live. My coworker (UMGD) took me to a show awhile ago and it was crazy. They're also touring again this mont...

Cross Canadian Ragweed's new album
Have you guys heard that Cross Canadian Ragweed is releasing a double disk album later this month? I just heard about it today at work (UMGD). I saw them play live about a year ago and it was honestly one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Their live show is amazing. The new album has 6 new s...

LOL; I love these posts from UMG! It's kind of a "soft spam"; always linking to videos or announcing the launch of a new album by an already established artist. Very grass-roots.

So little Johnny said to his mom, "I want to work at UMG when I grow up!"

To which his mom replied, "Johnny, you can't do both."

Cross Canadian Ragweed does put on a terrific live show! I saw 'em open for ZZ Top maybe 3 years ago in Knoxville.

I kinda like Rascal Flatts, too.

Yechhhh, Nashville pop.

There so many talented, real country, artists out there. You know, people who've actually had shit on their boots. Corb Lund, Neko Case, Carolyn Mark, Dave McCann, Scott Nolan, Ridley Bent, Joel Stewart, Romi Mayes, Kelly Willis, and Gurf Morlix. Why bother with Nashville?

Well, I can see why they're trying to do a extra bit advertising...
