I own an SG and a Strat and I alway go back to the Strat.
That may be because I've been playing the same one for over 30 years

A LP just doesn't feel like a guitar to me. It's weird, but it feels like a LP is hard and unyielding to my fingers. I feel shut out. My Strat, on the other hand, is more like a comfortable couch; I just sink into it. I guess that's what you get when you play one guitar for too long.
