Everybody must get stoned ( Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 ) sounds like one long whine , both the words and the music . I've never been the biggest Dylan fan . I consider him a talented songwriter but enjoy his songs more when they are sung and played by someone else .
If I claim to be a wise man , it surely means that I don't know .
mr. tambourine man - william shatner
groove is in the heart - dee light
i want it that way - backstreet boys
my heart will go on - celine dion
post-baby madonna (i can't watch her pretend that she's anything other than a gap-toothed whor e, plus they all suck anyway)
i believe i can fly, fiesta - r.kelly
i'm gonna soak up the sun - sheryl crow (unless she wrote it before being discovered, the fact that she could buy me ruins it)
many of these songs in this thread aren't bad, just overplayed, but all of these songs suck
Anything that Yoko Ono sang.
The soundtrack for Grease.
anything by Limp Bizkit (sadly I have 2 cds)
Right Said Fred-I'm Too Sexy (??? think that's who it is)
"If I had a time machine, I'd go back and tell me to practise that bloody guitar!" -Vic Lewis
Everything is 42..... again.
Canadian Content:
Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun
Edward Bear - Thinking of you, Down in Mexico
Don McClean........sadly
American Pie
I still hate it to this day.
They even overplayed it back then.
hey burgermeister, back in 1973, my then 4 year old little brother came up with his own verse to Seasons in the Sun-
We had fun
we had fun
streaking in the sun
till the cops came along
and spoiled all our fun
Here's one for you....
Ten worst songs of all time?
Any song that was ever written and never heard!
Get my point........
If you folks were as old as me, you might include some of the old bubblegum classics such as;
Sugar, Sugar - The Archies
Julie Do Ya Love Me? - Bobby Sherman
I can't... I can't go on.... <sobs>
I wouldn't necessarily call them bad songs, but definitely annoying:
Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seger
I Want to Ride My Bicycle by Queen
Fight for Your Right To Par-Tay
The Stroke by Billy Squier
Back in Black by ABCD
Everybody Dance Now by Whomever
OK they are pretty bad after all ;)

no offence but my heart will go on is an awesome song for a woman to sing and I have yet to hit some of the strongest notes. I had to say something since singing is my passion before guitar. :D
The worst songs on my list: ANYTHING by Hilery Duff or Lindsay Lohan. They need to stick to acting b/c they cant sing.
Rewind to '78.........Top of the Pops, week after week after week after bloody week...Boney M at #1...."By the Rivers of Babble on"....it never got that far, I was out of the armchair in a flash....(remote controls were in their infancy in those days, they cost about as much then as a decent 14 inch TV'd cost now...)........then came the great day...it lost the #1 slot.....took it about 5 weeks to slide down about 15 places in the charts...
then some idiot had the bright idea of playing the B-side....Top of the Pops next week, guess what...."Brown Girl in the Ring, tra la la la la....
AAAAAAARGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!
:( :( :(
Vic
"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
I can tell you the worst song of 2005...
Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani
Axel F. - A close second.
anything by usher.
Stupid tv ad jingles like Fanta.
Gwenie's Hollaback Girl baffles me. :?
