Wow, it's Friday thirteen
Give rap the guillotine
The words are all obscene
Light it up with gasoline
Pretty sad, even if I say so myself. But truly, I made up a rap about a co-worker named Ben Joseph back around 1982. This was way before anyone heard rap. I can still remember the rap I made up.
This fellow Ben Joseph's wife was from Brazil. Every summer she would go down to see her mother in Rio De Janerio. But she would always stay longer than she told Ben and spend a minor fortune. This poor guy was working 16 hours a day to try to keep up. So one day I made this rap. All names are real.
Ben's working all day
Yeah, he's breakin a sweat
Payin for a trip
For his lovely wife Jeanette.
Yeah, he's skippin meals
His waist is gettin narrow
While his wife's havin fun
Down in Rio De Janerio
But Ben don't mind
He's thinkin of another
He knows that his wife
Needs to see her mother
Well he finally goes home
And makes a TV dinner
When he gets a call
From his friend Mike Zinner
They're talkin 'bout a booth
That they might rent in a mall
When he's interrupted
By a long distance call
Ben it's just me
Said his lovely wife Jeanette
Ben I'm not comin home
At the time we set
I need some more time
Please understand honey
I need to see my mom
So send a lot more money....
There you go. As far as I'm concerned, these guys are all rippin me off. I was way ahead. :D
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
I agree with Nils!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I also agree that Nils doesn't like rap.
Generally speaking, human beings can get used to almost anything...so I don't think rap would be effective in the long haul. Prisoners would come to like it; and would miss it when it was gone.
Alex, music genre for 100 please

Who is Nils?
Bonus Question:
What is the diff between rap and hip hop? As a for-instance. My guilty secret is that I like The Black Eyed Peas
Are they rap or hip hop or what?
I suddenly feel the need to hide
I won't even sign this post...
I'm going now .........

PS I liked your rap about Ben Joseph, Wes, I almost cried  .....................................D'oh!

Your OK with this since it is the words I don't like and sometimes the music is OK 8) . You do have to expand your horizons you know. :)
I pretended for awhile that I liked rap but could not sleep at night so had to give it up.
