It's Harrison 80's hit: I Got My Mind Set on You from the album Cloud Nine.

Hey, Lars! Sound like any ex-wives we know? (I STILL shudder when I think about my first go at marital bliss...ugh!)

Just a note: Harrison didn't write this one. The writer, I think, is Rudy Clark. The Beatles used to cover it before they hit it big and it remained a song they played to warm up. Harrison resurrected it in the 80s.

Yes, you are right Tim.

I checked about the song at wiki and it is indeed written by Rudy Clark.

Me in a mood of George Harrison songs. Listening to his 'Brainwashed' album. :D

A little further info on GMMSOY.....after the Beatles finished their 1963 UK summer tour, the lads went their separate ways for a well-earned holiday. George and his brother Peter flew to Illinois to visit their sister, Louise, and while he was there he bought the James Ray album which included the track GMMSOY.

It got to #2 for George in 1987 - it was kept off the #1 spot by the Bee Gees' single, "You Win Again."

:D :D :D
