Congrats on the new gear! It should last quite some time.

Start a new thread in the beginner's section. https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=9 Personally, I'd start with a book of some sort for absolute beginners. Some of the pros who lurk on that board will have some sound advice for you though. Something to get you started with the right posture, hand positions, finger exercises, scales, etc. We don't really have much in the way of a syllabus. It'd read more like a tele-marketer's script than a syllabus anyhow. Too many styles and genres.....

Edit: And btw, there is some serious knowledge up there in that topic by some long time teachers.
