Last night (Sunday), my wife and I went to the Thirsty Ear Tavern. Every Sunday they have a Blues Jam where people show up and play.
It was nothing short of incredible. I had only ever been to concerts before, nothing like live club music, really. It blew me away. A guy even did some classical style guitar (sort of, hard to classify) which was out of this world. We were able to sit right in front (that's what arriving at 4:00 PM will do for you).
If you live in the Columbus Ohio area, definitely check it out.
Learning requires a willingness to be bad at something for awhile.
