Hello.

Are there any adviceable features in headphones used for singing and recording vocals?

Can you please recommend a model?

Thanks

Something that fits comfortably and blocks out as much outside noise as possible whilst leaking as little as possible - Sennheiser get my vote - pricey but worth it.

Hi, Alan

and thanks for your answer.

I'm thinking of getting the AKG K-271 Studio or Sennheiser HD 265 linear (what about HD-280 or HD-25?)

Would you mind revealing your model? I hope that this doesn't fall in the unabashed promotion category. If it does I apolgize.

How important are the following features? You don't need to explain, I'll trust your opinion.

Dynamic?
Open or Closed?
Linear?
Do they need to be Studio or monitoring headphones or do those have a different purpose?

I wrote an e-mail to Sennheiser too. I'll keep you posted if they answer me.

Thanks again
