I was sick a few weeks ago and after i got better i developed a problem. Every time i try to sing i can only reach a certain point before my voice turns off and the certain points that my voice turns off on are points i were able to reach before. I'm really worried, anybody know what might be happening or how to fix it :shock: ???
I have the same issue, I usually wait it out and try after a few weeks but this time it didn't work...
It sounds like a combination of the illness and perhaps your vocal technique are causing the problem. Don't rush it, stay hydrated, do some yoga, practice breathing exercises, and review your technique from the bottom up. I've had to do the same thing a few times and I always find some part of my technique is lacking (plus the excess guck from the sickness does not help).
