Hi all,
I have been playing electric guitar for 5 years, took lessons the whole time and play in a band...so my new thing is learning to sing. I have been practicing on an acoustic, learning mellow songs.
I posted the first thing I ever recorded for a critique:

I have been singing about a year. I think the most frustrating things are that my high notes can be flat and that I feel I don't have enough range, but I have improved since I started. Please let me know what I should be working on and what you think I can do to improve,
best

There's nothing wrong with your singing. You have a nice voice and you stay on pitch pretty well. The song that you posted doesn't have a very wide range, so I can't tell anything about your range or how you do at the lower and higher ends.

Anything else...? any insight is appreciated, it will only help me grow.
