John, I like the fact that you chose to go with the literal physics meaning of the phrase and then end up with the MTV image.
I'm not sure of the meaning of this line and think that maybe it doesn't say what you intended:
"Never went to sleep there, more than once"

I thought I saw this posted already and already replied :? ....maybe I just thought I replied. :shock: On the read nothing is "wrong" but two red flags pop up
1 singability of the lyrics - but if you have something in mind, it shouldn't be an issue
2 including "fad" facts....will your audience "get" the Paula Abdul reference?...in other words it limits who might understand the song, but again just something to consider not necessarily "wrong".
