New to Forum

This particular forum, the Sunday Songwriters' Group, is about specific assignments, which you can find in the announcement section of this page, or right here:

It's meant to be a workshop in order to get people writing about specific topics or exercising their writing skills in other manners. Here's a thread that explains the SSG:

There is another Guitar Noise Forum section as well, called the Guitar Noise Songwriting Club, which you can find here:

That Forum section is for any lyric or song that you might be working on ("free form" as you put it) and would like feedback for.

A word of friendly advice - all of the Guitar Noise Forums are built on community. Just posting your own stuff and asking for feedback is fine, but you'll find yourself getting a lot more from all the members if you also participate by helping them with their work as well. You might want to post a "hello" on the "Meet and Greet" page and start to meet some of your songwriting and musician community.
