So many good ones to choose from , I managed eventually to whittle it down to 4........
Choices: 1) Sad times and rainbow bridges
2) To a more pleasant plane of existence
Idea:
An grandfather rocking in his rocking chair on his front porch, pipe , gone cold, with his youngest grandson reminiscing about the past and looking forward to the end.
Choices: 1) Her eyes shine from behind a shade of sadness but she looks away in her world of madness
2) Today is nearly over
Idea:
A backpacker running away from her past, looking for answers in wrong places, no matter how where or how far she travels, she keeps repeating patterns in the tapestry of her life, her only happiness is just knowing she has managed to get through another day.
Go well

you can hear my songs at :
The first one reminds me of a story my Dad wrote about an old Indian fighter sleeping on his porch in a rocking chair, dreaming about a long-ago battle "He heard the owl hoot and the cat cry, but there was no cat. There was no owl"
He not busy being born is busy dying. - Bob Dylan (It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding)
that second one is cool i dident get that meaning but it fits it so well while leaving room for other Interpretations
well done ;D :D
