I'm not entirely certain that I get what this song is about but I'm not sure that that matters. It has a great feel to it, the meter flows really well.
The 3rd verse is my favourite especially the line
'loving spectacles, love tomorrow'
Any chance you could enlighten me as to who or what is actually the singer here? Is it literally the night? That would make sense, that the night comes and relieves the cares of the day and lets you start fresh tomorrow but am I reading it wrong?
