Lot of good postings already this week. That's what I get for taking a little breather...
I Didn't Know I Didn't Want You To Go (from Nick)
Be careful what you wish for
Ain't that how the cliche goes?
What good's getting your heart desire
If it turns your heart to stone?
Never dreamed a world without you
Would make me miss you so
I didn't know I didn't want you to go
Before I Met You (from katreich)
I never thought people were petty
I never thought people were cruel
I never thought people were stupid
But that was before I met you
New Blonde (from CitiZenNoir)
My new blonde's a lot smoother
Yeah my new blonde's a lot faster
All the other guys want to play her
She's my butterscotch blonde Telecaster
The Siren's Call (from Raystrack)
See the faces of the heroes
As they watch you from the walls
Look in their haunted eyes
And you can hear the siren's call
And (you may be sorry to hear), there's more to come!
Peace
Hi David,
As we've come to expect from you, they've all got strong ideas. But this was my favourite:
Before I Met You (from katreich)
I never thought people were petty
I never thought people were cruel
I never thought people were stupid
But that was before I met you
For me, a good chorus should almost be a mini 'anthem' - something that can stand numerous repeats, is the most instantly singable part of a song, and also rams home the main theme in a strong catchy way. This one nailed it on all counts! :D
Cheers,
Chris
