Here is my week 3 submission. What exactly is a bridge anyway?
Date with death
Its 3:00 in the morning
Her husband is asleep in bed
She secretly slips out of the house
To cheat with some guy named Fred
A selfish relationship
That began on the web
She was encouraged to meet this guy
By her adulterous best friend Deb

Eyes full of lust
Heart of betrayal
Alone in the darkness
With an associate of the devil
He took her back to his place
Where he dropped his disguise
He was not who she thought he was
You could see the fear in her eyes
He tore off her clothes
And chained her to the wall
Now her heart beat with anguish
His name was not Fred after all

He gagged and he beat her
Left her hanging there in pain
For days on end
Though she struggled in vain

Can you write out your list of imagery words?
Remember the old west topic? It was flavored with words that made you think of the old west.
There may be some confusion in the way I worded the topic, you wrote a scary story, but that isn't necessary, what the intent was was scary imagery.
So you have a really good framework here, but write out some scary images to fill it with.
Let me start you out:
cobwebs
stakes
blood
torn flesh
knives
daggers
axes
graves
cemetary
crunch of leaves
footsteps behind you
etc etc
now try to take some of your lines and add in that imagery
after midnight, before the dawn

that kind of thing. Imagery is a blend of spices to make a bland meal delicious. Not that you have bland, but you can always improve.

Okay, I see where some of the confusion lies.
Imagery, at least for now, is things not actions or concepts. Make a list of things you could see or hear or feel.

work just fine, but the others don't quite fit.
Do you remember the game show $100,000 pyramid?
The clue is "Things you would see in a horror movie" now you have to make me guess that by making a list.
