Hey gang,
This song began way back in Year 3, week 28 [ https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15337&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=adam+west ]. Bob has us come up with a bunch of titles. Since that didn't take very long I wrote a good chunk of one of the songs, but the next week's assignment was to write a chorus for someone else's title. And so, this has sat in a semi-finished state for almost 2 years until now. Enjoy.

Who's that in the grey and blue spandex?
No rubber suit, just watch the man flex
He may be a B-movie reject
But he's the best darn Batman that I've ever seen yet
Driving in a jet propelled car
Side-kick wearing leotards
Punch the villains, give them starts
And making eyes at Julie Newmar
It's pretty plain to see
They knew who Batman was in the 60's
Caped crusader as campy as can be
They nailed it on TV
I don't care who they cast in the movies
Adam West will always be Batman to me
Solving a trail of obscure clues
Bat-computer filled with vacuum tubes
Tearing up the floor with Batussi moves
And bad guys buying matching T-shirts for their goons
Climbing up a building with a Batarang and
Always getting stuck in tricky situations
Every other week we'd be left hanging
Til the same Bat-time and the same Bat-station

lmao, great song. Loved it. Had a lot humor. It'd be a great song to play a club or at a Batman fanatic party (just kidding there, lol). But really, good song. Not much I'd change here.
The only thing I think you could change is this line:
"And bad guys buying matching T-shirts for their goons"
Seems like you really had to speed up with that line to keep the pace of the song. Something like
"And bad guys goon's wearing matching t-shirts"
It'd just flow more, IMO. Maybe not, But give it a try.

I did a double take on this one. I have a song with the same title. Ah yes, "title theme week" way back in the day. You took yours a bit more literally than I did. All I can say is: Holy man in tights, Batman! Well done.

John, I'm glad you liked the Vietnam part... I was really debating whether or not to include it.
Kevin, yeah, there are some spots where the vocals are tricky. You've pin-pointed the worst line. My only problem with your fix is that, although it flows better, it blows my rhyming scheme out of the water. That and I love ending a line on the word 'goon'. :) Still, I'll put that line on my 'To Fix' list. Thanks.
