Hi Trev,

Good start :D It's probably better to take liberty and get something down than coming up blank like I am :evil: ...my excuses are jet lag last week...moving house this week....then next week we start the new school year.....waiting for that mundane routine to kick-in so I can get back to writing :cry:

this reads really well and tells a great story. There is only one very very minor change that I would consider making if it was my song:

In the previous verse we were looking at the situation from her perspective and the I'm just reinforces that were now looking at it from yours, not a biggy though, well done mate.

Good to see you posting SSG pieces, hon! Wish I could fight writer's block/time/pain to do the same! (Heh heh, I just rhymed...partially).

I agree with Pbee about the "I'm" bit. Aside from that, interesting story, good take on the assignment (which has me flummoxed). Overal, great job of this week's SSG, congrats! :D

Thanks heaps for the comment appreciated as always , I know about that block its a killer at times , something that seems to be working for me at the momement is "Escape from reality " and dream of the life you want and not the one you have and write those thoughts down ...Don't even try to rhyme or write a song , new cars , big house with maids and butlers millions of cash ... Dreams...Ahh don't hurt to dream and it costs nohing :) ..In my dream I can play Barr Chords he he he
