Twisted
(like father like son)

Chorus:
You twist my arm to get your way
You twist my words no matter what I say
You twist the truth, you've done it from the start
And you twist the knife that you slid through my heart
You're twisted

1
Seems none of my words
Can make it through
They all seem to have
Different meanings to you
Looking for comfort
But blinded by grief
You demand all attention
No matter how brief

2
Like a raging volcano
You demand sacrifice
I can't buy your affection
No matter what the price
Nothing I can give you
Can satisfy your greed
Cause nothing that I have
Is what you need

3
Like the others before you
You have taken all you can
You have not yet learned
What it takes to be a man
You hate it that you need me
But you won't go away
You're too fightened to leave
Too angry to stay.

Hi Kathy

Apart from the typo in the chorus ( I won't say where it is as Iam sure you will see it and edit it )

This very good the chorus could be about any relationship I actually thought of my wife when I read it

Nice writting Kathy

Hilch :?:

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am

Nice writing there Kathy. It flows very well.

A lot of high emotion in this piece. Well done. 8)

Kathy,

Very honest and direct.

This reminds me of some of the issues my wife
and daughter had. What are you thinking of for
music ?

Thanks all. Raising children is certainly a challenge. Sometimes I think I wasn't quite up to it! I'm hearing this as a semi-angry rocker.

Hi Kat

Well thought out piece as the story line follows from start to finish and tells an all too familiar story. Tells it well though.

Good stuff

Bob
