No music yet. Here's a start on the lyrics. They don't start with "Nobody's Waiting," but that is the first line of the two choruses.

verse:

Last month I saw you on the news.
Your face was turned away.
There was something about your radical views,
But you had nothing to say.

chorus 1:

Nobody's waiting
For you to come home.
It's been devastating
To see you throw stones.

verse:

A masked man said you were warriors
Fighting for your cause.
You once wanted to be a lawyer.
Now you live by different laws.

chorus 1

verse:

You've always had a dark soul
Even when you were ten.
You used to torture animals.
When did you graduate to men?

chorus 2:

Now nobody's waiting
For you to come home.
We almost feel like celebrating
That you died alone.

Very interesting lyrics and overall, a very nice job. A couple of suggestions.
In verse one
There was something about your radical views,
But you had nothing to say.

I wonder if you could be a little more specific about the radical views . . . . . . what the news said or implied about them . . . . .

In verse two
You once wanted to be a lawyer.
Now you live by different laws.

I'm not sure that different laws really expresses the extent of change that you want to imply. I wonder if you describe the type of laws that was lived by . . . . . or said something like making up your own laws . . . .

In the last verse
We almost feel like celebrating
That you died alone.
I kinda understand what you mean when you say we almost feel (felt) like celebrating . . . . but anything joyous doesn't seem to fit . . . . or it might place you in the same category as a person. Maybe something like celebrating wouldn't be enough, but you deserved to die alone.
Anyway, just some thoughts.
Belated Happy Thanksgiving!
Neil

Feeling bad because it has taken me so long to reply. Musical commitments, family illness, broken water heater, etc. kept me from revising the song and posting. So here it is, finally. Hopefully the new lyrics are clearer. I really appreciate the comments.
