I don't know whether it was the old posts or what, but forum response time is much better.
We had 85000 posts total.
After removing the posts older than 270 days, we are down to 59000.
That is an amazing number of posts.

Doubtful. I don't think they are doing much for us now days.
It may be possible that we had a bad circular link or something in the database that held the oldest messages.
I do know that of the 30k messages or so that were deleted 75% of them were about Nirvana.
One negative to the deletion, some of the forum headers may have gone missing. The Sunday Songwriters header is gone. I'll know next time.
Blue Domino doesn't respond to my emails anymore. I'm surprised they don't pull the plug on us.
