Hi there,

I'm having trouble sending PMs - they are stuck in the outbox, and there is nothing to press to get them sent - anyone who has written to me and hasn't received a reply, or alternatively has received a couple of replys to the same message I apologize.

I looked in the help section, but that doesn't answer my question, unless I've been disabled from sending PMs, by the administrator, but I think I would have been told about that (?), I don't think that would be the reason as I hardly send any PMs, if so

thanks for any help :)

Stuck in the outbox means that the other person has yet not read your message.

When the other person reads it, your message automatically comes into your 'sentbox'.

Try sending to some active member and you will hit it.

Instead of starting a new post I'm "bumping" this old one. I keep getting a something like sender not defined and the PM doesn't get sent. Sorry Greybeard if you get a dozen or so. It's important for me to PM you rather then hijacking KP's thread. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.

Are you sure the field "To:" and "From" are completed? Mine does that automatically, but maybe you need to enter the username of your addressee and your own as well. You'll see those fields near the top of the screen when you try to PM.

Ghost,

I've just sent you a PM to see if the communication works in the other direction.

Assuming you get it, use it to make a reply to me.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Yes it worked. Thanks Musenfreund and Greybeard!

P.S. Hope I didn't type Greybread.
