Thx Niles...
On a side note Niles...for some reason when I click on those images at your site they crash FireFox on me? I think it's my version of firefox since it has been crashing lately anyway...something about when the windo automatically resizes...
They shouldn't do that since I did check it in Firefox and it worked. Try right clicking them and downloading them in full size.
Is anyone else using Firefox who can test the images for me just to make sure it's not a common problem?
i use firefox and it seems a okay to me
p.s. Nice site Nils - already bookmarked
Thanks for catching that. it all fixed. I've been studying so much xhtml and css lately I dream about it.

I redid the pages to make life easier. Now you can access all of them from one page.

It's Mixolydian not "mixolyian"

Thanks again!
However the link for the Printable Tab sheet goes to the Printable Staff sheet...
Great Work!
EDIT...OK...now it works fine!! I haven't had any coffee yet this morning!!
Ok, I corrected the errors. Also if you have any scales you want to add or find errors let me now.
Joe
I'm really tired (i've been up 28 hours now) so I might be completely missing it, but I didn't see melodic or harmonic minors

Joe's scale shows all 5 positions of what your image calls the "Caged" system.
Your "Caged" system only shows 2 of the 5 patterns (which are rightly called "box shapes").
Joe's "Scale 5" and the first "Caged" image that you have are the same.
Joe's "Scale 3" and the second "Caged" image that you have are the same.
So it's not showing a different scale.
The book you scanned shows only two of the box shapes of a pentatonic scale both in different keys as drawn. Joe's scales show all five of the box shapes of a pentatonic scale all in the key of G.

So which one do I practice? I mean if one manual shows one way and another shows something totally different then how is a newbie supossed to know what to do? Even with a teacher this would be confusing?
Thanks
