like many have said it really depends on how you are playing the guitar and what kind it is. New strings come out of tune very often. You should probably check them before practice to see that they are in tune, or if you don't feel like that just play a chord that requires every string on your guitar and listen by ear to see if it sounds correct.

I have a tuning pedal so i always just tune up really fast.

It also depends on how often you practice.
