I wrote this song over the past couple of days(I know, I'm a major novice). Please give me suggestions.
Easier the Last Time
Things are not the way they were anymore
But they're still the same as before
How could my life be so hard to see

I was going to call you a good writer, until I read this. No, just kidding. The song was good. Don't be so hard on yourself! I'm not good at picking out the wrongs of a song, so all I have to say is I liked it. I thought the words in the pre-chorus was clever.
