Maybe you could put a little bridge after chorus 1 to say:
but time goes by...now I don't know why but...
and then go into verse 2.
That's not a great example but you get the idea.

I know the song you're talking about, lotto. I thought the song was good. I didn't quite understand why you wrote I love/hate how it’s never/always a game I wasn't sure what that meant. But I still liked it.
