One take of guitar and voice, obvious overdubbed vocals at places. Plenty of mistakes in both areas, but I had to get it down before I forgot. So here it is:

Edit: Overdubbed some guitar (maybe it's worth mentioning I'm not a guitarist and I'm struggling with the thin strings :P)

Haven't you heard?
A kiss is worth a fortune now
They sell in schoolyards, wrap it in plastic for me

Where's the world going?
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know
I wanna see a little love, encourage me to say

Keep marching on, singing
Have been for so long
Keep marching on, dreaming
Have been for so long

So nature's dying?
Well, what did ya think?
You left it in gutters, put poison down the sink

Humanity's screwed?
Well, no secret there.
Insensitivity breeds, there's war on the streets
Where will it end? Just..

Keep marching on, singing
Have been for so long
Keep marching on, dreaming
Have been for so long

It rained today
Almost washed me away
Yeah, it rained today
And I was the rain

Wash the scum away (forgot to actually sing this..)
Yeah, I was the rain

Keep marching on, singing (Wash the world away)
Have been for so long
Keep marching on, dreaming
Have been for so long

I like it, but I think I've heard the tune somewhere. I can't remember the song but it goes...

I got you on my mind, Hey love.

Dun dunnn

Something, something, something, Hey love.

I like it though, although the voiceovers sound sort of oddly placed.

Saber, if you listen closely I think you'll find that "Hey love" is actually "Layla", made famous by Eric Clapton. The chorus reminded me of that song too.

Apart from that, it's a good song. You play and sing very well, and the mixing of the track is done well too (certainly better than I could do).

I like the lyrics, especially in the verses. I think that the chorus is weaker though. If I were you I would rethink both the lyrics and the rhythm of the chorus.

Yeah, the similarity to Layla has been pointed out to me by several people. It's a song that I, cuiously enough, had never heard before this was brought to my attention, but the similarity is almost embarrasing, so I'm definetly changing the chorus..

And of course, all the input is greatly appreciated.
