Just to stand in the place

So many miles are now long left behind you
With all of the trials that were waiting for you
So many moments, forgotten in movement
Falling like rain to the ancient grey pavement

Each empty night was filled with uncertainty
Sometimes your life leads to blind alleys
The broken man dies, and is born anew
But ages each moment he falls short of truth
