Probably the first complete song was "Prayer to God" by a band called Shellac. It's only three or four chords and it's fun to play, plus they say the F-word alot..HEHE...did I say F-word. I think the Marilyn Manson version of Sweet Dreams was the next or close to the next.

I was just thinking about this the other day and how many songs I struggled to learn and no I can't even remember how to play many of them.

I think I have the equivalent of musical ADD. I play a hand full of songs for awhile then as I learn a new one, one gets pushed from the rotation and before you know it I foget how to play it.

"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!

Rush-Fly By Night, not too tough, took awhile to keep coming back to it though to get the solo down.

Thanks Dudes!

Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Then Wish You Were Here. I started WYWH first but Knockin' on Heaven's Door was much easier.

Well I got this guitar and I'm tryin' to learn how to make it talk.

"This Land is Your Land" from a lesson somewhere on-line, though an argument could be made that it was "Take It Easy' by the Eagles. I played the chords on that one, but the 1-2-3-4 strumming made it pretty unrecognizable.

Blame it on the lies that killed us, blame it on the truth that ran us down.

My first song wasn't exactly a song but a "riff" : it was the riff of smoke on the water (depp purple).

My first relly song was a french interpretation of house a the rising sun by Johnny Hallyday, it's call "les portes du pénitencier".

La Bamba - Ritchie Valens.

Henry Garza, Saul Hudson, and Darrell Abbott could not be here tonight, but they all had sex and are proud to announce the birth of their two-headed baby, Rodya S. Thompson.
