Help.
I'm out of control.
I bought a capo and a brass slide.
Don't tell the missus. ;-)
What I want, though:
A Harmony Rocket (3-pickup model)
A 12-string acoustic
A Taylor T-5
A Rickenbacker 620
And a separate room for them and myself
And one good amp-
Not too much to ask, is it?

true that not everyone gets GAS. but for most of us it never fails to rear its head.
however, it does go away when one finds their TONE

and that gentlemen and women is another interesting journey.

It becomes a feeding frenzy. Once one gets it, it doesn't quit until it conquers a few more victims.

And for evidence of that, take a look at the Squire '51 thread!

I don't want to go off the deep end all at once, kwim? Although I probably need a few effects pedals, and a stand for each axe, and...

"TONE"-is that short for "The One"? As in "the one I could play all day and never mind food or sleep"? I've heard rumors. I played a Robin Raider once, and almost fainted. And that Taylor T-5 is pretty nice, and I didn't even plug it in. The quest continues....

I been gassin for one of them Behringer Tubescreamer pedals that Wes reviewed for us. But I cant find it on Musicians Friend anymore. :( Ohh and I also would like a volume/wah pedal. Ohhh and at the gig this past friday a fellow was using a pedal that had a "SWELL" effect he called it.. But I cant find that either. It made a really neat droning effect.

Hum.. seems I am light on gas... must go browse Musiciansfriend a bit longer.

If you stay around here too long, you're bound to have some GAS. The Mrs just went through a rough spell, so we got her a Fender Precision bass. I think that's calmed it down for now. I am having a spell, but it's causing me to spend money on everything except what I originally intended (Epi LP and an Epi Valve Junior). New Strat here I come!

Geoo -

You may want to give the Behringer Hellbabe a try if you're wanting a wah. After a few slight modifications (removed the spring, tightened the screw so I could leave it in one position, and soldered in a switch instead of the optical sensor) it really became a good addition to my meager pedal board.

Also:

Music123 gave me some shipping problems once, but rectified it immediately. They've never really done me wrong otherwise.

Our songs also have the standard pop format: Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo, bad solo. All in all, I think we sound like The Knack and the Bay City Rollers being molested by Black Flag and Black Sabbath.
